  1. How beautiful! Someone said that every child born is God’s way of saying that He hasn’t given up on us yet.

  2. Congratulations. A very beautiful child. Grandchildren are so special. And as our grandchildren have grown, I’ve learned just how important our place can be, as grandparents.

  3. A darling addition to your family and the family of the world.. Mazel Tov!

And think, she is a result of you and YOUR bride falling in love and letting that love generate. We have a sign in our house, with a multitude of family pictures below, that states “….all because two people fell in love!” **

[**yes, I know this could be said of ALL of our ancestors back through time, BUT since we are the senior generation now that all four parents have gone home to the Lord, we ‘claim’ our old selves as patriarch and matriarch, for now, at least.]

  5. So cute. Congrats. Looking at that little stocking cap reminds me of the first several months after our daughter was born. We had her in one of those almost 24/7, to the point several friends and family kept asking us, “Are we ever going to see the top of her head?”

  6. Wonderful news, and beautiful picture of your new grandchild!
    Congratulations, Chaplain Mike.

I remember that when the baby daughter of my son’s friend was newly-born, the parents wrote these words on the bottom of her tiny feet,

    “. . . I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made . .. ”

    (from the Psalm 139)
